imagination events is set in the midst of the Manistee National Forest just west of Cadillac Michigan. We offer a number of services wedding and party related, including:

~ Takara-en: The Treasure Garden. Our Japanese-inspired garden is the site of intimate weddings (25 people) with a flow of decks and a Japanese gate under which brides and grooms (or those wishing to renew their vows) may be surrounded by family and friends for the big moment. The garden is surrounded by bamboo fencing and includes a neatly raked sand garden. A bell tower will be added this spring. It's a peaceful and calm setting for that special moment.

~ Adventure Weddings: Is your dream to say your vows in an unusual place? An airplane? On horseback? On a boat? We can accommodate -- and we don't even care if it rains! We have umbrellas!

~ Parties to Go! Tented white pavilions with or without white netting can be arranged under the stars or sun, with tables and chairs and a 24-place table service ANY WHERE you like! Our contemporary, elegant table service is in white, pale blue and light green garnished with river pebbles and origami cranes. Our four-wheel drive can take the party to spots overlooking local rivers, fields or even your own back yard. Remember that wonderful dinner scene on the savannah in "Out of Africa?" Now you can have your own romantic dinner! We also have glassware, water carafes, silverware, pristine white linens and an ice bucket. Ask and we will get it for you.
Bring your own food or we can work with a caterer.

~ Wedding officiant available. Jennifer J. Gray, owner/operator of imagination events, can perform ceremonies anywhere in Michigan. A practicing SGI Nichiren Buddhist for more than 30 years, she is ordained through the Church of Spiritual Humanism, and can incorporate your wishes into your ceremony.
